It should be secured so that it does not swing freely, thus preventing the alternative air source from being damaged or damaged in the environment, and nevertheless it should be easily released when needed. The alternative air source should be easy to use. The alternative air source should be suitable for use in the correct direction (exhaust opening downward) for both diver and vent when needed. It should be separate or with a pipe long enough so that the divers can share air without being too close to their movements to be limited. Like any other system, this system also has advantages and disadvantages. This system is mainly suitable for use in open water, limited access to caves and an area with large boat movement. The advantages of the system are that it is compact and separate. It is important to emphasize that the system is designed to do only one thing and that is to give extra air and so the diver can get safely above of the water or even to the safe parking and complete the safe parking with the air remaining in the main tank. This container can be easily attached to the compensator. The container is always in an “open” state so it is ready for emergency use.


  • An additional set of regulator valve has been in use for many years in cases where a significant amount of additional air is needed, especially in technical diving. You can obtain containers of different sizes and adjust the regulator according to the driver’s wishes. The disadvantage of this system is its great weight, it’s being clumsy and its high cost. But when you need a reliable air source this is the solution.


So how do you choose the Alternativ scuba diving air source?

Regardless of the type of Alternativ scuba diving air source you choose, keep in mind that performance depends on the ability of the order in the regulator to provide air, especially if it needs to provide air for two orders and an inflator.
