- Size and weight
Canon EOS 100D Rebel SL1 camera introduced the 100D camera as “the smallest and easiest digital DSLR camera in the world.” It’s hard to estimate the difference without comparing: the 100D is less than half the weight and almost half the size of the popular Canon 5D MK III. This significantly reduces the chassis and reduces at least 2.3 kg of the weight of the underwater photographing system. Small size also has tremendous advantages for flights by reducing weight and clarity by reducing water resistance and fatigue.
Most of the mirrorless cameras with an ergonomic structure are similar to the Point-and-Shoot camera: a capsule with small buttons. The D100 is built ergonomically similar to Canon’s larger DSLR reflex cameras but is “corked” for easy carrying. The rounded body and the great thought invested in the position of the buttons help to make it easy for the amateur or professional photographer.
- Excellent lenses
No camera has better lens support than the Canon EF-S series. You can connect all of your favorite Canon lenses including popular underwater photography lenses like Tokina 10-17mm and Canon 100mm Macro USM IS. The EOS 100D has an EF-S connection, so there is no need for an additional adapter that can slow the auto focus and reduce image sharpness.
- Unbeatable prices
If you are considering a Canon DSLR camera case or a mirrorless camera, you cannot afford not to check the 100D. Use the money you save to go for a dream dive trip.
